IN THE COUNTIES OF THE YADKIN VALLEY

 

Attention, History Buffs!

                                                                                                           

You are invited to participate in the

4th Annual Yadkin Valley History Fair & Conference,

Saturday, August 8, 2009, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, at the

Lewisville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall,

6290 Shallowford Road, Lewisville, NC 27023.

 

Free exhibit tables will be provided for your history-related organization and information about early animal and Native American trails, the Great Wagon Road and other early roads, the Shallow Ford and other historic river crossings, ferries, covered wagons, stagecoaches, and the proposed North Carolina extension to the Daniel Boone Wilderness Trail.

 

Pre-registration before July 18, 2009, of $15 per person includes exhibits, speakers, lunch, and a tour of Lewisville and Clemmons.  Afterwards and at the door, registration is $20 per person.
